Double Chance is a betting market that allows you to cover two of the three possible outcomes of a match with a single selection. Instead of betting on only one outcome, you can choose a combination of two possible scenarios.
The 3 possible combinations
- 1X: the home team wins (1) or the match ends in a draw (X).
- 2X: the match ends in a draw (X) or the away team wins (2).
- 12: the home team wins (1) or the away team wins (2) (no draw).
Why choose Double Chance?
- It is used to reduce the risk compared to a single-outcome bet (match winner), as it covers two possible results instead of one.
- It is useful when you already have an idea of what the result might be, but want to add a second option to increase your chances of winning.
- Since you are covering more scenarios, it is easier to win the bet. However, for the same reason, the odds are lower than they would be if you were betting on a single outcome. It is a trade-off: more security, but lower potential winnings.
When do you win the bet?
You win if at least one of the two selected outcomes occurs.
- Example: if you choose 1X and the match ends in a draw, you win.
- Example: if you choose 12 and the home team wins, you win.
When do you lose the bet?
You lose only if the final result does not match either of the two selected options.
- Example: if you choose 1X (home team win or draw) and the match ends with an away team victory, you lose.
- Example: if you choose 12 (home team win or away team win) and the match ends in a draw, you lose.
