The Betano Social profile is the space where other users can see your activity, points, posts, and highlights. From your profile settings, you can control what information is visible and to whom.
Is my profile public or restricted?
By default, profiles on Betano Social are public. You can change it to restricted at any time from your profile settings on Betano Social.
What is the difference between a public and a restricted profile?
On Betano Social, there are two types of profile visibility:
- Public profile: All Betano Social users can see your posts, activity, points, and highlights.
- Restricted profile: Only users who follow you can see your content on Betano Social.
You can also control the visibility of specific sections like Highlights and Activity independently from your profile settings.
Can I switch between a public and restricted profile?
Yes, you can change the visibility of your Betano Social profile at any time. To do so, go to your profile settings on Betano Social and choose the visibility option you prefer.
What information can other Betano Social users see?
Depending on your profile's visibility settings, other Betano Social users can see:
- Your nickname: the name that identifies you on Betano Social
- Your avatar: the image that represents your profile
- Your posts: the content you share on Betano Social
- Your ranking points: your position in the Betano Social leaderboard
- Your activity: recent actions like copied bets or open games
- Your highlights: the posts you have pinned on your profile
How do I hide the Highlights section?
To hide the Highlights section on your Betano Social profile, go to your profile settings and disable the visibility option for Highlights.
How do I hide bet amounts or winnings?
To hide amounts on Betano Social, go to Settings > Account Settings. From there, you will find two independent options:
- Hide amounts in your activity: the amounts of your bets and winnings will not be visible in your activity
- Hide amounts in your highlights: the amounts will not be visible in the posts you have pinned as highlights
Where can I see the points I earned on Betano Social?
Your Betano Social points are shown in two places: at the top of your profile and on the Betano Social leaderboard.
How do I change my nickname on Betano Social?
You can change your nickname once from your profile settings on Betano Social. Once you make the change, you will not be able to modify it again.
Why can't I change my nickname?
Nickname changes on Betano Social are limited to prevent misuse. If you have already changed your nickname before, you will not be able to change it again.
How do I deactivate my Betano Social profile?
To deactivate your Betano Social profile, go to your profile settings and select "Deactivate profile." When you deactivate your profile on Betano Social:
- Your profile will be hidden from other users
- Your posts will be removed from the feed
- You will be excluded from the Betano Social leaderboard
How do I hide the Activity section?
To hide your recent activity on Betano Social, go to your profile settings and disable the option that shows your recent activity, such as copied bets or open games.
How do I choose my avatar on Betano Social?
You can choose your avatar by tapping the "Edit Profile" button on your Betano Social profile and selecting one of the available options.
