Identity verification on Betano is a protective measure designed to safeguard your account and your funds:
- Ownership guarantee: Accumulated funds are sent solely and exclusively to the actual owner of the Betano account.
- Security: Identity theft, fraudulent access, and unauthorized transactions by third parties are prevented.
- Legal compliance: Betano complies with the standards required by the regulatory bodies of each jurisdiction.
⚠️ Important: Withdrawals to third-party accounts — account holders different from the one registered with Betano — are not allowed under any circumstances. If you try to withdraw to a bank account or e-wallet that is not in your name, the transaction will be automatically rejected.
What happens if you try to withdraw without verifying your account
If you make a withdrawal request without having your account or destination method properly validated, the system may respond in the following ways:
- Pending status: The request will remain in "Pending" status until you upload the required documentation and the Betano security team approves it.
- Immediate rejection: If the configured withdrawal method corresponds to a bank account or e-wallet not in your name, the system will automatically cancel the transaction.
How to know if your withdrawal requires verification
You can check the status of your request from My Account → History → Transactions. If your withdrawal appears with the status "Action Required", it means that identity verification or account ownership documentation is missing. The system will show you a message indicating which document is missing and a direct button to go to the verification screen.
Once you upload the required document and it is approved by the Betano security team, your withdrawal will continue processing automatically.
